Teaching Universities Supporting Teachers in the Field

  • For over 20 years, Alabama’s colleges and universities that prepare teachers have been required to provide assistance if a new teacher assigned in-field needed support. This guarantee is applicable only to individuals who have completed a Class B (undergraduate) or Alternative Class A (master’s degree level) program approved by the Alabama State Board of Education. Here is a list of Alabama’s educator preparation institutions, along with the name and email address of the person who should be contacted if a new educator assigned in-field experiences difficulties during the first two years of employment
